This wall-mounted, vandal resistant GreenSpec water cooler is made by Elkay. This Elkay model LVRCGRN8 unit is the GreenSpec version of Elkay model VRC8S. GreenSpec simply means that the unit features a high-efficiency cooling system that provides over 50% greater energy efficiency (in comparison to average water cooler energy performance. This unit also features a Vandal-Resistant StreamSaver™ bubbler that reduces water usage by nearly 40% (in comparison to average market performance).
This Elkay LVRCGRN8 unit utilizes a vandal resistant manual activation push button, that enables the unit to continue providing drinking water even when there is no electricity. This feature makes this water cooler a great option for schools, universities, and other locations where water access is imperative 24/7, even during emergencies like power outages. This water cooler comes with the Watersentry VII filter system. Its vandal resistant components include the following: a vandal resistant bubbler, tamper-resistant fasteners, and a stainless steel finish. The unit functions on standard 115V/60Hz power and provides chilled drinking water at 8 GPH. It is rated for indoor unit only.
